Strawberry and Pineapple Smoothie Variations

High-Protein Strawberry Pineapple Smoothie – Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder or Greek yogurt for more protein.

Tropical Green Smoothie – Blend in a handful of spinach or kale for added nutrients (One of my favorite hacks. You won’t even taste it!).

Creamy Coconut Smoothie – Use coconut milk instead of almond milk for a tropical twist.

Banana-Free Version – Swap the banana for 1/2 avocado to keep things creamy without the banana flavor.

Fiber Smoothie – Add 1 Tbsp of chia seeds, ground flaxseed, or rolled oats for a little extra fiber and fullness.

Mango Pineapple Smoothie – Replace the strawberries with frozen mango. So good!

Making a Smoothie Without the Banana

Fresh avocado is a great substitution for bananas in this strawberry pineapple smoothie! The creamy texture brings the smoothie together and the healthy fats add nutrition. It’s also slightly sweet, making it perfect for breakfast smoothies!

Option Add-Ins and Toppings

  • Chia Seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Protein Powder
  • Granola

Tip for adding protein powder: Adding 1-2 scoops of protein powder (opens in a new tab) is a great option in this recipe! Keep in mind that you may have to adjust the amount of milk, since the protein powder will thicken the smoothie. Simply add 1/4 cup of almond milk at a time until you achieve the desired consistency!
