What sets DQ Buster Bars apart is their perfect balance of flavors and textures, offering a delightful contrast between velvety soft serve vanilla ice cream, satisfyingly crisp nuts, and a heavenly coating of smooth, indulgent chocolate. Not only are Buster Bars a scrumptious indulgence but they can also be made with healthier ingredients, making them a wholesome dessert!

Are Buster Bars Gluten-Free?

  2. Place dollops of the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten.
  3. Top with peanuts and chocolate chips (optional), then add a popsicle stick (opens in a new tab) to each one and freeze for at least 30 minutes (but up to overnight).
  4. Melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil to create the magic shell, dipping each buster bar to coat with chocolate.

  • OR you can add even more chocolate chips for a more indulgent dessert!
  • Make this recipe in a pan instead and slice it into frozen bars!
  • Top with a few crumbled Oreo cookies (or any cookie crumbs) for a fun twist!

Do these freeze hard solid? Sometimes my teeth can’t take homemade frozen yogurt treats lol. But I wanna make them so badly!

    1. Sandy

I made these and yes they freeze and are absolutely amazing

  2. Leanne Opheim

Do I need to use protein powder? Or can I omit that?

    1. Sandy

I put in the vanilla powder and it was honestly amazing. I’m making more for the weekend ❤️

    2. Christine McMichael

You can omit it if you’d like!

  3. Suzanne

This looks so good! What a great combination of flavors!

  4. Rebecca

Are the nutritional amounts baised on the small size or the large size?

    1. Christine McMichael

      The larger ones!

      1. Janis

These are so good, but better if they sit out of the fridge for 10-15minutes so the yogurt softens a little bit.

Anyways, is it really 386 calories for each bar? Yikes. I only just paid attention to the calories. I was hoping that was the entire recipe and then it breaks down on whether you make 5 big or the smaller ones.
