These Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls are great as a healthy snack!
Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls are such a great go-to when you need a quick chocolate fix, are craving something indulgent without the guilt, or just need a healthy snack. You and your family will absolutely love them!
Protein Balls Recipe Ingredients
When a recipe is a simple and quick as this, you know you’ll be making it over and over (especially when there is minimal cleanup)! Here are the simple ingredients you’ll need:

Rolled Oats – This versatile grain is the base for this delish recipe and so many of my other recipes like my overnight oats!
Chocolate Protein Powder- This is what gives this snack its chocolatey goodness with the added health benefit.
Peanut Butter- I love to use peanut butter (opens in a new tab) without added sugar. Just peanuts with their natural oils work great.
Honey- To make this recipe vegan, just swap this out with agave syrup (opens in a new tab) and you’re good to go!
Chocolate Chips- My favorite dark chocolate chips are EnjoyLife Semi-Sweet Morsels (opens in a new tab) which are dairy-free, nut-free, and soy-free!

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls
Nothing could be simpler than throwing these ingredients into a mixing bowl and stirrin’ it up! Here’s how to make Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls:
1. Mix all of the ingredients together.

2. Roll into balls.

3. Enjoy!
I love that this protein balls recipe only takes about 5 minutes to make. It’s SO incredibly easy to put together and great for healthy snacking all week long!
My Favorite Protein Powder For Protein Balls
While you can use any protein powder, I’ve had great success in using Naked Shake (opens in a new tab) in several of my recipes, including these Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls! Here’s what I love about Naked Shake:
- It has less sugar than regular protein powders.
- It is a plant-based protein.
- Includes 20 g of vegan protein with 24 vitamins and minerals.
- It tastes great in recipes like this one!
Storing No Bake Protein Balls
These protein balls can keep in a stored container for a week, in the fridge for two weeks, and in the freezer for several months! Make sure to seal them in airtight containers (opens in a new tab) for added freshness and longevity.
We loved ours so much they only lasted in our house for one week. If you think that might be your case too, try doubling the recipe!
