How to make a Quinoa Breakfast Bowl

Breakfast quinoa is SO easy to make! Simply bring almond milk and quinoa to a boil, then reduce to a simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add in maple syrup and cinnamon (to taste)! Top with fresh fruit and enjoy.

In this Apple Cinnamon Quinoa Breakfast Bowl recipe, we added rolled oats to the quinoa (for texture purposes). However, feel free to replace the rolled oats with more quinoa if desired!

So interesting, I’ve been eating oatmeal for breakfast for a few months now (new to that game lol!) and I love this quinoa version! Quick question: do you fill as full with the quinoa? With oatmeal I don’t have morning cravings.

I’m always looking for dishes to prepare with quinoa. My family loves quinoa! I have never thought about serving it for breakfast, but with the cooler mornings of fall quickly approaching, this would make a great hearty breakfast. Thanks!
