It seems that I have a turmeric crush which cannot be stopped. It’s finding its way into everything I make these days! And this Vegan Turmeric Ginger Dressing turned out to be a total WIN!

Now you guys know how picky I am when it comes to salad dressings. I CANNOT handle disgusting, chemical filled, fake sugar dressings. So I had basically given up on all salad dressings and resolved to only use olive oil since that was the one thing I could find that tasted “real”, until the delicious 3 Ingredient Creamy Avocado Lime Dressing (opens in a new tab), of course!
While I love that dressing on this Chili Lime Ground Turkey Taco Salad (opens in a new tab) and on ALL THE TACOS (and basically anything ever), I was looking to create something a little more…errr…sophisticated. Something that said “Hey, I’m good for you and taste excellently well-rounded and elegant. Let us ballroom dance as we listen to classical music and enjoy hors d’oeuvres,” rather than “FIEEEEESTAAAA!”. Ya know?

This Vegan Turmeric Ginger Dressing has a warm, savory flavor balanced by a touch of sweet.
Not to mention the bold, smooth flavor of the combination of turmeric and ginger that is nothing short of epic! Oh…and 5 ingredients, y’all. 5 INGREDIENTS! And all the lazy girls said AMEN.
Perfect topping to a delicious Roasted Sweet Potato Black Bean Salad (opens in a new tab) or Sweet Potato Fennel Salad (opens in a new tab) I would say! Here’s what you need for this Vegan Turmeric Ginger Dressing:
- Ground Turmeric (opens in a new tab) (<—-FAVE)
- Ground Ginger (opens in a new tab) (or freshly grated)
- Agave Syrup (opens in a new tab)
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil (opens in a new tab)
- Apple Cider Vinegar (opens in a new tab)
I recommend always having all of these things on hand, just because they make the world go ’round. Thankfully, I just happened to have all of these things in stock when I randomly decided to make this recipe (check out the shop page (opens in a new tab) to see what I keep in my kitchen)! 😉
Also, if you’ve never heard of turmeric or are curious about its AMAZING health benefits, head over to the Vegan Turmeric Quinoa Power Bowls (opens in a new tab) recipe! It’s just my fave right now. FAVE!

Can maple syrup or honey be used instead of agave syrup? Thanks!
Absolutely!
How long does it last for?
Ilove this website, your recipes for out of this world.
I read that consuming agave is worst than consuming fructose corn syrup, can I use honey instead?
Thanks so much, Patricia! I haven’t heard that, but I’ll look into it for sure. Yes, go for it!
Love how simple this dressing recipe is! And all about adding turmeric into recipes like this 🙂
