This Baked Teriyaki Salmon recipe has been one of my top favorite easy healthy dinners for YEARS! It’s so flavorful and truly the best way to bake salmon. And as a busy mom of 3 littles, I love that the entire thing can be made in under 30 minutes in a single casserole dish! This easy hands-off recipe is perfect for busy weeknights.

There’s nothing I love more than a quick, easy, one-dish recipe for dinner. Especially this Baked Teriyaki Salmon recipe, which not only includes the most flavorful flaky-tender salmon, but also includes rice and veggies so the whole meal is made in under 30 minutes!

I’ve been making this recipe for years and it always turns out so good. If you’ve been stuck in a dinner rut and need a new, interesting way to make salmon, you’ll love this baked salmon recipe!

How to Make Baked Teriyaki Salmon Recipe

Making baked teriyaki salmon is easy! Simply place the salmon filet in foil (skin side down). Mix teriyaki sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and soy sauce together along with a little bit of ground ginger. Coat the salmon evenly with the sauce and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until flaky!

How to Make Teriyaki Baked Salmon Ahead of Time

The best part? This baked teriyaki salmon recipe can be made in advance and meal prepped for the week! Simply make the recipe ahead of time and place in meal prep containers. Let cool in the refrigerator with out the lid for one hour, then cover and keep for up to 5 days!

P.S: I love love LOVE these Rubbermaid containers (opens in a new tab) for meal prepping since they have an airtight seal and keep things fresh for a good amount of time!

Teriyaki Salmon Baked Recipe

This Easy Baked Teriyaki Salmon Recipe is the ULTIMATE quick and healthy weeknight dinner. Loaded with flavor, this recipe can be made in 30 minutes or less!

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets (medium)
  • 1/4 cup jasmine rice, dry
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 lemon (juiced)
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce (or tamari)
  • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 cups broccoli (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the rice according to directions.
  3. While the rice is cooking, mix the sesame oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, teriyaki sauce, ginger, and pepper together in a bowl.
  4. Place the salmon filets and broccoli over foil paper on a baking pan. 
  5. Pour the sauce mixture evenly over the filets and broccoli, saving a little bit to drizzle over the rice at the end (optional).
  6. Bake for about 15-20 minutes (or until the salmon filets are flaky).
  7. Serve over the rice, drizzle with extra sauce, and enjoy!
