This Asparagus & Rice Baby Food Recipe is so easy to make and loaded with nutrition for your little one!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 bunch asparagus (about 10-12 stalks)
  • 1/4 cup infant rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Wash and cut the asparagus stalks into small pieces, removing the tough end pieces.
  2. Place the asparagus in a baby food maker or steaming basket and steam for 10-15 minutes (or until soft).
  3. Blend the asparagus with leftover water from the steaming process to create a puree.
  4. Mix in infant rice cereal and add more water or breast milk to achieve desired consistency.
  5. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or the freezer for up to 3 months!
