I love making my own baby food. It’s fun to experiment with flavors and try to create little wholesome meals for my baby (as you can see in these 8 Easy & Healthy Baby Food Recipes)! And while I have made a lot of my own baby food, I’ve come to realize that I need to keep a second option on hand for times where we’re headed out on-the-go or I didn’t have time to make my own.

While there are tons of options for organic, healthy baby food out there, I recently discovered Little Spoon Organic Baby Food (opens in a new tab) and became instantly obsessed. Scroll down to learn more about what Little Spoon is, how it works, and my honest review!

How Little Spoon Works

After trying Little Spoon for about a week, I decided that it’s PERFECT for my little one and I! Here’s what I love about Little Spoon:

The nutrition

The ingredients are not only organic, but truly fresh. While other organic baby foods are processed at high heats and still often filled with preservatives, Little Spoon Babyblends (opens in a new tab) are preservative-free, non-GMO, and contain the highest quality ingredients!

It comes straight to your doorstep

Hello, convenience! As busy as mom life is, it’s nice to not have to worry about finding the best baby food to give my little one every week.

You can customize to your baby’s needs

Upon signing up, the first step is to let Little Spoon know what your baby needs in his or her baby food. Have a picky eater? Or maybe an adventurous eater? Just starting purees or beginning to transition to table food? Little Spoon will send the right baby blends for your little one!

It’s cost effective

If you’re signing up for the first time, you can purchase Little Spoon Organic Baby Food (opens in a new tab) for as little as $2.06 per blend! When you consider that the ingredients are healthy, fresh, and completely organic, I consider the price per blend as very cost effective.

Is Little Spoon Worth It?

If I’m being honest, I was a little nervous to start Little Spoon Babyblends. (opens in a new tab) Atlas (my 8 month old at the time) had been really picky about any green vegetables that I tried to give him, and I knew that some of the Little Spoon blends involved more creative and nutritious combinations that he had never tried before. Some even had about 5-6 ingredients, like this Kale Avocado Green Apple Chia (opens in a new tab) blend!

The result? He absolutely LOVED it. I mean….LOVED. Haha! He not only loved that specific blend, but every single blend we tried from Little Spoon. My honest review of Little Spoon is that it’s worth it! Such an amazing solution to the baby food and baby nutrition dilemma. I will use it again and again and again (literally placing another order today, by the way)!
