Heating up the avocado pasta sauce

As you pour the sauce over the warm pasta, it will naturally heat up a little bit. Serve immediately!

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado
  • 1/2 cup spinach leaves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil (opens in a new tab)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cashew milk
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • salt/pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Peel and remove the seed from the avocado.
  2. Place all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the avocado pasta sauce over your choice of pasta.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

    Are these normal spinach leaves or baby spinach? Does the normal spinach need to be blanched ?

      I haven’t tried it, but I don’t think I would recommend it since the texture is pretty different. I would stick to fresh if possible!
