Protein Brownie Bites that are the perfect little sweet treat! Whether you're making these as a healthy snack or mini dessert, these mini protein brownies are melt-in-your-mouth good. Made with 5 simple ingredients, this recipe is refined sugar-free, gluten-free, contains no flour, and dairy-free/vegan. I love prepping these mini brownie bites and having them on hand for whenever I'm craving chocolate!

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • In a large mixing bowl (or in a food processor), mash the banana until it's as smooth as possible.
  • Mix in the cocoa powder, baking powder, chocolate protein powder, and almond butter.
  • Use a spoon to fill a mini muffins pan (silicone or with liners) with the brownie batter.
  • Spoon granola butter or nut butter over each muffin, then add chocolate chips.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes, then remove from the muffin pan and enjoy!

Notes

Tips:
    • This recipe can make 20 mini brownies or 10-12 medium brownies in a regular muffin tin.
    • Another option is to bake these in an 8x8" baking pan (lined with parchment paper) and cut into squares!
    • Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days! You can also freeze these brownies for up to 3 months. To thaw, simply place in the fridge for a few hours or pop them in the microwave for a few seconds.
