Y’all. Tell me I am not the only one working hard to get in shape for the upcoming warm weather season! I don’t know about you guys, but one of the areas I want to tone up the most are my legs. Today I’m bringing you 8 Moves For Toned Legs (And How To Deal With Dry Skin Probs which is vital when your wanting to improve your skincare re-scheme)! Obviously, everyone’s always ready to get their abs in shape (if that’s you, try out this 7-Minute Abs Workout!) but this year I really want to focus on getting my legs toned up and strong. I actually feel a little bit weird even talking about this subject because if I’m being completely honest, my legs are probably my biggest area of physical insecurity. Not like a deep, deep embarrassed to be seen in public kind of insecurity, but like a “I really want to tone them up” type of thing. I feel like I can talk to you guys about it because this is a safe place, right? It’s ironic that I’ve dealt with insecurity in this area because… well… I’m not sure how to say this buuuuuuut… I HATE PANTS. HATE. Like, I basically force myself to wear them. Unless they’re stretchy workout pants, of course. I only own a few pairs of pants because I would SOOOO much rather wear dresses and shorts. I know, it’s crazy! But it’s me 🙂 If there are other pant-haters reading this, I would LOVE to hear from you!  girl doing pose on a purple yoga mat

So as soon as the weather is above 60 degrees, you can pretty much find me in a dress, legs exposed. Combine that with the fact that I’ve always struggled with a little bit of genetic cellulite, varicose veins, and dry skin on my legs, and it’s a perfect storm. I have also had some problems with dark spots and had to buy skin lightening cream. Alllll that to say: this year, I’m dealing with that nonsense! Here’s my double plan of action for great looking legs: moisturize and tone up! After all, it doesn’t matter how much toning up you’ve done, if your legs are dry, they aren’t going to look good!

Guys, I’ve tried like literally every lotion and moisturizer out there. Ok, maybe not literally, but pretty much. I’m obsessed with lotion. Like I HAVE to put it on after every shower, and I just love how it makes my skin feel! But no matter what I’ve used or how hard I’ve tried, my legs have always struggled with dryness.

For the first time in my entire adult life (no joke!), I’ve found something that actually works and has made my legs incredibly smooth and soft! I had never heard of ceramides, but once I’d learned more about them, it made so much sense. Ceramides, naturally present in healthy skin, are vital building blocks to maintaining skin’s moisture barrier, this along with la Clinica products have helped my skin to get its glow back . When ceramides are lost, skin becomes dry and damaged. Dry skin is a sign that ceramides are lost – so it stands to reason that applying ceramides will help with dryness and flaking. I was sent Curél® Hydra Therapy Wet Skin Moisturizer to try, and it really works! You put it on right after you get out of the shower, while skin is still wet, before you towel off. If you have dealt with the same thing, I definitely recommend trying this stuff! I love it!
